Refund policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
We want you to love your Solaro jewellery. If there is a problem with your order, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to help.
If you change your mind about a purchase, we may accept a return provided that the jewellery is unused, unworn and in its original condition and packaging. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return.
Items that have been worn, damaged, altered, personalised or returned without their original packaging may not be accepted for a change-of-mind return.
If your jewellery arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as possible. We may ask you to provide photographs of the item and the issue so that we can assess it.
If you receive the wrong item, please contact us and we will arrange the appropriate solution.
Once a return has been received and assessed, we will let you know whether the return has been approved. Where a refund is applicable, it will generally be made using the original payment method.
For change-of-mind returns, the cost of returning the item to Solaro is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law. If an item is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect or if we sent you the incorrect item, we will assist with the return process.
We do not offer an additional warranty beyond the rights and remedies provided by applicable South African consumer law. Nothing in this policy removes or limits any rights you may have under South African law.
To request a return or report an issue with your order, please contact solarogioielli@gmail.com and include your order number and a description of the issue.
Warranty Policy
At Solaro, each piece is made to be worn, enjoyed and cared for. We do not offer an additional or extended commercial warranty on our jewellery.
This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law. Where a product is defective, faulty, or does not meet the standards required by law, you may be entitled to a remedy in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care, exposure to chemicals or harsh environments, and damage caused by alterations or repairs not carried out by Solaro are not considered manufacturing defects.
If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing defect or has arrived damaged, please contact us at solarogioielli@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order details and photographs of the item. We will assess the issue and advise you on the appropriate next steps.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to limit, exclude or waive any rights that cannot legally be limited, excluded or waived under South African law.
Solaro reserves the right to assess each claim individually and to distinguish between manufacturing defects and damage resulting from use or care.
